Overview
The notice of intent must include only the information listed in NRS 388D.020(5), including an educational plan covering the four subject areas, as appropriate for the child’s age and skill level as determined by the parent. The district may not request additional information. NRS 388D.050 does not require each subject to be taught every year. Homeschooled children may participate in some public school classes, activities and interscholastic sports after filing a separate notice of intent to participate (NRS 392.074; NRS 388D.070).
